Environment/Versions

TTworkbench 32/64 Bit, Microsoft Windows/Linux

Answer

Java JDK or JRE version 8 or greater.
  • Using a 64bit System: We recommend to install Java 64bit and TTworkbench 64bit.
  • Using a 32bit System: You have to insall Java 32bit and TTworkbench 32bit.

Note:
  • Since TTworkbench 28 Release, a 64-bit JVM is required (no support for 32-bit JVM)
  • Java 12 support since TTworkbench 28 release (Integrated OpenJDK 12.0.1 (only for Windows))
  • Java 11 support since TTworkbench 27 release
  • Java JDK includes JRE

Additional information:

If you have more then one Java installed, you have to check which Java is set in your Enviornment variable Path (e.g.: "C:\Program Files\Java\jdk1.8.0_66\bin";)

Otherwise, please close TTworkbench and modify the ttworkbench.ini file (located in TTworkbench installation directory) with any text editor by inserting a "-vm" option BEFORE the "-vmargs" option.
The line with the -vm option must point to your JDK bin directory e.g.:

-vm
C:\Program Files\Java\jdk1.8.0_66\bin

-vmargs
-Xmx2048m

Afterwards, save the ttworkbench.ini file and start TTworkbench.
